Dataset Templates belong to Datasets and are used to group raw data together under a common theme or area of concern.
Dataset Templates:
- contain Data Tables
- are assigned Contributors
- are a place you can track your contributor update history for the contained Data Tables
How do I create a Dataset Template?
On a Dataset page, you can create a new Dataset Template by clicking Add New Data Source then selecting Create New Template. Lastly give your template a name and click Create to finalise the process.
How do I duplicate a Dataset Template?
On the Dataset Template page you wish to make a duplicate of. Click on Duplicate in the menu.
This will create a copy of the template within the same dataset.
