As a Dataset Moderator, you can queue your Dataset updates to be published into the Seer Data platform. Once this process is complete, you can explore your Dataset and create insights on the Explore Data page.
When you edit data in a Self-Service Data Aggregate table or upload a new file using the URL upload tool, saving your changes will update the raw data. In order to see those changes reflected in your dataset on the Explore Data page and in any related Insights, the new data must first be published.
How to publish your data
To publish your data and kick off the ingestion process, click the "Queue for Ingestion" button in the actions menu.
Status Indicators
The "Queue for Ingestion" button will change to reflect the current status:
- Queued: The dataset is queued for ingestion. The button is disabled.
- Ingesting: The ingestion process is currently underway. The button is disabled.
Additionally, you can check the latest update timestamp and publication status just below the dataset name.
Refresh your dataset page to see the current data publication status.
